Winter Theme - Igloo

As a part of our Winter theme, our 2 and 3 year olds were practicing their cutting skills to make an Igloo. I draw lines going in both directions on the paper so the kids cut out square shapes. Once their paper is cut out, I draw a dome shape and then the kids put the glue on and glue the paper on. We paired this with Hibernation but this would be perfect to learn about Arctic animals. This was done by a 2 year old. 

Painting Snowflakes

As a part of our Winter Theme, the kids painted Snowflakes with Q-Tips. They chose how they wanted to do it on their own. We chose Blue paper so the white paint would show up easier. The kids had a lot of fun with this.
